Official competition rules - v2026-10-19

Duels & Trade Royale

These rules govern paid competition entries and must be read with the Terms, Risk Disclosure, and Refund Policy. The applicable allocation and platform fee are shown before payment and recorded with each entry.

Simulation disclosure

All competition accounts are simulated $50,000 accounts. No customer futures order, security order, or other real-market order is placed, routed, or funded by the customer. Prices, fills, P&L, and results are simulated and may differ from live market conditions.

Eligibility & conduct

  • Participants must be at least 18 and use one account only.
  • Public competition identity is the customer's selected username; PayPal name and email are never shown on boards or in matchups.
  • Collusion, manipulation, multiple accounts, payment fraud, or rule violations may lead to disqualification and loss of an otherwise payable prize.

Duels

  • Two customers must enter the exact same duration and entry tier: 1 hour ($25/$50/$100), 2 hours ($50/$100/$250), or 4 hours ($100/$250/$400).
  • Matchmaking lasts 15 minutes. If no opponent is paired, the full entry is automatically refunded to the PayPal payment method used at checkout. If a processor refund fails, support receives a ticket and the customer is notified.
  • Once paired, both customers receive the same server-controlled start time. Higher end-of-session simulated P&L wins. A tie refunds both full entries.
  • For new entries under these rules, the winner receives 85% of the two-entry gross pot and the disclosed platform fee is 15%. Example: two $25 entries create a $50 gross pot, a $42.50 winner prize, and a $7.50 platform fee.

Trade Royale

  • Every Royale has up to 25 players and a simulated $50,000 starting balance. Each published entry tier is a separate competition and prize pool.
  • Longer Pacific-time blocks run 3 PM-9 PM, 9 PM-3 AM, 3 AM-9 AM, and 9 AM-2 PM at a $25 entry. Rolling one-hour Royales are offered at $25, $50, and $100; rolling two-hour Royales are offered at $50, $100, and $250. The 2 PM-3 PM maintenance gap is excluded.
  • New Royales require at least two paid entrants at the published start. If that minimum is not met, the session is voided and every paid entry is automatically refunded in full to the PayPal payment method used at checkout.
  • For new entries under these rules, 15% of actual paid entry fees is the platform fee and the remaining 85% is the prize pool. Paid places equal the top 10% of final entrants, rounded up to at least one paid place. Each paid rank receives a weighted share: rank i receives (1 / i0.72) divided by the sum of those weights, multiplied by the prize pool. For example, 20 $25 entries create a $425 prize pool: 1st receives $264.45 and 2nd receives $160.55.
  • A Royale can be cancelled until five minutes before its published start for a 50% refund. There are no customer cancellations after that cutoff or after start.

Trading, scoring, and ties

  • Only supported futures contracts may be traded. Orders, fills, P&L, positions, and final standings are simulated from the platform's server-recorded market-data and execution rules; no real futures order is placed.
  • At the published close, open positions are closed using the final available simulated price. Trade Royale standings rank final simulated P&L from highest to lowest. Duel winners are determined by the higher final simulated P&L.
  • A tied Duel refunds both entries. For an exact Trade Royale P&L tie, the earlier completed paid entry receives the higher rank; this deterministic tie-breaker is recorded in the competition ledger.
  • Entries close five minutes before the server-controlled start. Trades and results are governed by the published session open and close times, not a participant's device clock.

Platform interruption

If a verified Draze platform or market-data interruption materially prevents fair participation, Draze will use its server logs to apply one uniform remedy to affected entrants: extend or restart the session when the same competition conditions can be preserved, or void the affected competition and refund the paid entry when they cannot. A customer-side connection, device, or browser problem alone is not a platform interruption. The chosen remedy and affected entries are recorded in the competition ledger.

Prior competitions

Competitions and entries created before this rule version retain the 10% platform fee and 90% prize allocation disclosed at entry. Their stored allocation controls results, settlement, outstanding prizes, and refunds; they are not converted to the 15% fee.

Results, payouts, tax, and disputes

  • At the published end, positions are closed using the final available simulated price; final P&L, rank, and prize eligibility are recorded by the server.
  • My Competitions displays the final rank, whether the entry was paid, the eligible prize, and the payout state. Finalization normally begins at session close; if it cannot complete, the customer sees a pending status rather than a false result.
  • Eligible prizes are initiated to the verified PayPal email used at checkout after finalization and any required tax verification. Draze provides a payout status update within one business day of finalization; processor review or a missing tax record can extend delivery.
  • A payment-processor failure is escalated to support with customer notification. Questions or disputes should be sent to support@drazetrading.com with the competition and payment reference.

A rule-version acceptance is recorded before paid entry. Availability and payment processing remain subject to applicable law and payment-provider requirements.
